Because everyone needs a blog, apparently. Personally I think everyone needs a pair of Converses.

"Is it raining? I hadn't noticed"

Just a quick tip for you all. Never stand at the edge of the pavement when it's raining. Not even if you have the Walk the Line soundtrack on full blast on your Ipod and are replaying the film in your head so you forget you are standing right by the road waiting to cross. The chances of a car/van/lorry driving by near the puddle that is conveniently 5cm away from you are vastly high. Don't chance it. It may be highly entertaining* but the wet jeans are not worth it. I am now sat at home in pyjamas refusing to leave the house.

*I am still gutted I missed the Val+puddle incident in Bristol...

I really wouldn't have wanted any other witnesses - grrrr! (And yes, I remember the sniggering - but at least i was wearing black!)

In defence of the sniggering - it wasn't so much you getting soaked (as funny as that was :-P) as your reaction to it...
