Never avoid people, especially in uni. Even if you can do it for three years, it won't work forever. Eventually you will rock up to a house party because you were dragged there after the cinema and realise the fact of uni life is that everyone at house parties knows everyone else. Then you will practically walk into the person you had been avoiding because they live in that house.
