    Maybe it's more like a ping pong ball

    Me: "Where are your glands? I think mine are swollen..."
    E: "Here [points to throat then puts her hands on my throat] Yeah one is, it's the size of a golf ball!"

    5 minutes later...

    T: "What's wrong?"
    Me: "My throat hurts"
    T: "Do you have the lurgy?"
    Me: "E says my gland is the size of a golf ball"
    T: "Oh I had that the other week, it was swollen but then a few days later it was fine."
    Me: "Right, so I got it from you then?!"
    T: "Erm no. I'm not ill [sniffs, looks shifty then starts walking off] You always blame me for stuff!"
    Me: "Yes, because it's fun."
    M: "It is fun [thinks] it's T's fault that the cupboard is broken!" [laughs]
    Me: Erm. [pauses] actually technically it is."
