Because everyone needs a blog, apparently. Personally I think everyone needs a pair of Converses.

    Are your ears burning?

Today I had a half hour practice session at Burn FM*, which basically meant I got to fiddle about with all the faders and buttons and pretend I was a proper dj. It also meant that for the best part of half an hour I got to play my favourite songs, well half of them since I was trying to get them to fade out of one song and fade into another. Then I discovered a Jo Whiley voice over and spent the next ten minutes fading out one song, playing the VO and then fading into another song. I think I've got the hang of playing songs from the computer which is the main thing. It was actually quite fun but quite daunting at the same time, I think it'll just take practice to get it all clear in my head and be able to do it automatically with hardly any thought.
