There are many actions that probably show that I am an English student. The fact that all my books by the same author need to have the same covers and consequently be the same editions and publishers. The fact that if someone is reading a book on a train or bus I will try very hard, short of falling off my chair, to figure out what they are reading. The fact that I love book shops and libraries and would rather sit on the floor by the books than go find a chair, therefore getting in everyone else's way. And the fact that this morning, unlike Mr Moyles on the Breakfast Show, I found the information that facetious is the only word with all the vowels in order, really interesting.
