    Eats, Shoots and Leaves

    An e-mail that arrived in my inbox from our department office:

    An academic writing class, open to all humanities students, will be held this afternoon (Wednesday 18th January) in Arts Lecture Room 4. The toic will be punctuation.

    Maybe the topic should be spelling...
