    "Everything's Gay In London"

    M: "Aww look at the dainty split in the back of her top."
    Nik: "I'm sorry but how do some people not know you're gay when you use words like that?"
    M: "I know! [pauses] It's fabulously dainty."

    M and I are having one of our usual discussions over lunch.
    "...That's because you are always hanging out with Dean."
    "Yeh that because all my friends are in Birmingham." I think this is a fair enough response. I pause for thought before continuing, "I think I'm going to only have gay friends in London and have straight friends in Birmingham." I sit back, pleased as this sounds fairly logical to me.
    "No one should have straight friends." M thinks and then rephrases his sentiment slightly, "no girl should have straight boy friends."
