Having recovered from my random bout of illness yesterday that had reduced me to being in bed by half nine, today I was enlisted to help clean the house. Obviously, it's Christmas so the house must be spotless, or something to that effect. Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind being hauled out of bed and having to stop reading The Chronicles of Narnia to help clean the house. My mum's not well so my brother and I had to help. However, I do object to a) having to change the table cloth in the knowledge that it will changed again for Christmas, which is in two days! b) dusting the chairs, because we are sitting on them on Christmas day. Well I've been sitting on them all week and I've not encountered a problem with dust yet but if anyone reading this dusts their chairs, or knows anyone who does, let me know. I come from a student house where we vacuum once in a blue moon, but tidy and clean relatively often so maybe I've just not encountered the chair dust thing yet...
