    Voicemail 101

    "Ahhh, I think it's, it's talking to your...oh, you're going to have a message on your answerphone of me going argh...I don't know how to cancel this one yet and I...oh my god it's still going, oh no, how do I stop..."
    At this point Ali managed to work out how to hang up on her new phone that she has had for about a week, thus demonstrating why ringing someone who is sat half a metre away just so you can hear their ringtone is not the best idea.

    I did manage to work Tim's phone which I'd never worked before. I put a reminder on it for him to ring me Saturday at 12 O'Clock and tell me I'm wonderful!
    12.03 saturday I get a suprise phonecall from Tim "My phone's just gone fucking berserk!!!!"
    "Really? Why are you telling me about this? I can't do anything!"
    "I'm telling you this ali because it was YOU who made it go fucking berserk by putting a 'reminder' on it, and you CAN do something about it, NEVER EVER touch my phone again!"
    "oooh" I giggled remembering "I didn't think it would actually go off!"
    There was a sigh from the other end of the phone and then the dial tone!
