Because everyone needs a blog, apparently. Personally I think everyone needs a pair of Converses.

    TOW The Circus Tent

Grad ball and the England match. Two important events on the same day. As you can guess, I was thrilled...(!)

I went round to Rach's to watch the match and rocked up at hers with an England flag tied round my waist and as she's not interested in football at all, she wasn't very impressed. Luckily she didn't deem this worthy enough to not let me in so I collapsed on her sofa and watched the match with Lucy. And Rach made us lunch, very nice it was too. However, due to my reluctance to tear myself away from the tv, I did my make up in half time, straightened Kirst and Lucy's hair in front of the tv and then when the match finished, ran upstairs, threw on my dress and sandals and left the house.

We arrived at the Guild, found a bench in Mermaid Square and sat down pre-empting that our shoes would hurt later on, so sitting down at every possible opportunity was a good idea. After lots of photos, we went to find the queue for coaches...

The queue was absolutely huge! And I'm not exaggerating. It wasn't very well organised but eventually we got on the really hot coach for the hour long journey to Combe Abbey. Lots of "are we nearly there yet?"'s later and we arrived at what looked like a field with some tents in it including a huge circus tent.

Upon finding our table for the meal, in said circus tent, we discovered rock, blowing bubble stuff and other random cool stuff. The meal itself was ok but the tent was so hot, I felt ill for a bit but we wandered outside in the middle of it and found Gilly before going back in for chocolate dessert, which much to Lucy's disgust, I only ate half of.

After that it was lots of wandering round, refusing to go on the fairground rides and getting candy floss with Gilly instead and attempting to have conversations with a very drunk Ben. Not to mention the fact that everyone wearing stillettos probably took home a huge chunk of the field with them in the form of clumps of grass attached to their heels.
