Because everyone needs a blog, apparently. Personally I think everyone needs a pair of Converses.

    Love Hearts and Lyrics

Two years ago today I found myself in Nightingales, one of the reasons being the pure hilarity of being in a gay club on Valentine's and the other being Griffin. Please bare with me whilst I go into nostalgic mode*. It was the day that will forever be remembered as the day Corinne and I came in early on Hungry for the Love and also the day Ali ended up wearing a outfit that turned out to be relatively transparent. We went, we bowed to the tv screens, we danced on stage, we got a bit drunk and got free fun squidgy hearts. We also, along with Tigger, carried out the plan to triumph over all other plans**.
"We want to kiss you and then draw kisses on with henna pen"
    "Where?"
"On your arms, where do you want us to do it?"
And that is how Griffin ended up with 'x's on his arms and 'Nik' and 'Corinne' written on his left and right arms respectively. It is also why Corinne ended up lipreading him telling some random guy that we were "crazy"; either because of that or the photo of all of us sitting on laps.

Those were the days. Happy Valentine's Day ND, and Corinne, there was not ten...more like three!

*To be fair, as long as I'm not talking about Radio 1, you shouldn't be complaining...
*Well maybe not all other plans, all plans except The As Yet Untitled Plan and The Plan.

Ah, my first overnight stop at Niknak Towers!

A stage with an interesting eyelevel, "gonna go out and get LAID!", aftershock ("I felt that!"), no one making any noise when Peter came up on the screen, talking to Al whilst a lesbian groped his arse ("Did you have sex?!" - nosey git), adjusting our tops in the queue, "Do we get extra time for four?!", Three Steps songs in an hour, Steeeve at the piano, Al coming to kiss us goodbye (wub). And the immortal:

"Corinne wants you to...take out her rose with your teeth"

    "I don't think I'm nimble enough"

Oh I forgot that! Is that when the whole "Corinne wants you to..." thing started?! And I did remember it was your first stop at Niknak Towers, you claimed it was a long walk! :P
